Funky Adjacent presents our third release and first compilation, showcasing nine burgeoning producers from three continents.

This project exemplifies our drive to understand our sound as part of an umbrella of global, drum-led club music.

The result is a rich tapestry of sounds, weaving together elements of pan-african club genres, techno and bass with classic UK Funky bounce.

SPD, Darama, CA$TLE and label boss Calm Stiege represent the UK on the compilation. They're joined by Strict Face, Tinika and Burna from Australia, plus Ovid from the US and Lúnasa from Ireland.

After the success of our last release, 'Paprika/Standoff' by Drumheller, we feel privileged to be releasing nine exceptional tracks that showcase the diverse and exciting spectrum of modern percussive sounds.
